LENGTH: 24'
Rebuilt between 1989-1990 for Jim Grand for use servicing the historic Urania Island on Lake Muskoka. Alleghenia's hull sides were able to be saved, as was much of its interior and all of the hardware fittings. Totally rebuilt with an encapsulated bottom, 'Alleghenia' became a familiar site on the Muskoka Lakes.
BUILDER: DITCHBURN BOATS
In 2007, Doug Ivester, of Atlanta, Georgia purchased the boat for use on nearby Lake Toxaway. 'Alleghania' is a classic flush-deck Ditchburn launch. Fitted with the original sliding navy-hoop top, these boats give the ability to get out of the sun or rain with an easy adjustment. This boat continues to waive the 'Ditchburn Flag' internationally, as so many before it have also done. Now offered for sale at $150,000.
