"Corey" has been owned by Stan Leibel for over 40 years. Shepherd boats were produced in
Niagara On The Lake and are great 'big-water' boats on big lakes. She calls Lake Simcoe home, where the rough waters are no match for her sea worthy design.

This boat came to Peter several times over the years for traditional plank repairs and refinishing. In 2017, the original bottom could not be repaired any longer, and she received a Encapsulated Plank Breen Bottom. With minimal care, this boat will no longer need repairs as the original bottom did.
BUILDER: SHEPHERD BOATS
Solid mahogany planks fastened with stainless steel screws and thickened epoxy on every joint sealed inside and out creates a "bullet-proof" bottom. "Corey" is now serving the third generation of the Leibel family.
