Gadfly
YEAR: 2000
'Gadfly' was commissioned by Allan Flye in 1998. It is an exact replica of "The Jeffrey", a 1939 20' Greavette Racer, that Peter had recently restored. Finished with black hulls typically, this tends to create contrast and make the varnished deck stand out more visually.
LENGTH: 20'
Built for descendants of Harry Greening's family, 'Gadfly' was built more than 80 years after Greening had
Ditchburn make him the original 'Gadfly' raceboat. Drag-link steering, side controlled mechanically controlled throttle, and throaty exhaust are just a few things that give this boat a sports car feel.
