Second Wind
YEAR: 2008
Bill Ringo commissioned this exquisite project in 2006. Just as builders such as Ditchburn built custom to order boats throughout
the 1920's, nearly a century later, the same pattern emerged around this time. Bill and Susan regularly visited during the build, to make design decisions as the project unfolded.
LENGTH: 31'
At 31' overall, "Second Wind" is based off the signature and recognizable Ditchburn launch design that has become so well known in the Muskoka region. Of the 3 hull designs Peter Breen became familiar with over a life-time of restorations, this was the best performing.
OWNER:
BILL RINGO
Features include raised
engine hatches, self-standing bucket seats, decorative coaming boards, & a white painted hull to contrast the varnished deck.
Named in reference to Bill's then inability to retire, "Second Wind" is now used and enjoyed regularly from her island home on Lake Rosseau.
